When Europtics (our brick and mortar stores in Denver, CO.) was at Vision Expo West in Las Vegas, we saw a marvelous new line made by BaumVision. Shane Baum calls this line Leisure Society, and it hearkens back to a gentler era in our history. He envisions these frames as “heirloom frames;” something you’ll want to hand down to your children, and grandchildren. More importantly, he envisions these glasses and sunglasses as something your children and grandchildren will want to receive from you!

Shane Baum has spent over 3 years designing the 4 sunglass and 5 optical frames, and has been working with the finest artisanal craftsmen in Japan. Each frame takes 6 hours to engrave; which means production is limited to 4 frames a day. He has vowed to use only the best materials available, with the end result being stunning glasses that will last, both in terms of durability, and in terms of fashion. The styles are classic, and will look as wonderful 5 years from now as they do today.
