Day 1 of Vision Expo and what a day it was…
First we met with Bevel and Orgreen and were shown a beautiful new collection with clean lines, amazing colors and clever names. Somehow I dropped the ball and didn’t snap any photos as we checked out the line.
We stopped by Face a Face and not only dug the new frames but also loved their new limited edition frame set, The Bocca…
On to Theo Eyewear where we viewed some very exciting new zyls, titaniums and sunglasses…
From Theo we went to Salt Optics which unveiled yet another collection of solid, wearable ophthalmic frames and lovely new suns…
Anne et Valentin showed us another great, unique collection and some hot new colors like this turquoise spotted tortoise…
The day wrapped up with an old favorite. The French eyewear line Vuarnet is making a comeback offering the same classic styles and amazing lenses…
Did we enjoy our first day of Vision Expo 2012, I think Ken’s face below says it all… Yes we did!!!

Salt Lennox Polarized Sunglasses, Merlot
Even though we’ve got snow falling in the high country as I write this, I am seeing flowers blooming and green things growing down in the Mile High City today. I am also seeing the sun much more often (although, truth be told, it spends a lot of time shining in Colorado). It’s finally April, and in many places in the northern hemisphere spring is here! Or, at least it’s coming.
