I spoke with Stacy at our Park Meadows store, and her favorite frame is the Gloss 1 by Face a Face. She owns this frame in the rust front with leopard temples.

She really likes the way the hinge works on the Gloss 1. It doesn’t join the temple and frame front directly, but leaves a little space. It works well with the spring, but also makes a good transition between the titanium front, and acetate temples. She feels the shape is very feminine, and very flattering. It has a slight uplift, and that’s always good for a woman! Stacy calls this her summer frame, because of the colors, and the light feel and look.

Face a Face uses quality materials, and, just as importantly, quality craftsmen, to create their frames. They’re durable and well made, and, like the Salt frames, they fit very well. Face a Face also uses vibrant colors, and their frames really stand out from a crowd. If you’re looking for something different, these are frames you really need to see!

Face a Face EyeglassesI spoke with Julie at our Park Meadows location today, and her favorite frame (this week) is the Face a Face Gloss 1. She loves the way the front of the frame is designed to give uplift on a woman’s face. The metal front adds definition to the glasses, but not weight. The acetate temples contrast nicely with the front and give a little added funk to the frame.

She also likes the fact that the Gloss 1 is large enough to accommodate a progressive lens, so she can fit it on many different women.  It comes in many different colors, ranging from more neutral to fun and vibrant, so it can go with many different styles, depending on your personality.

Face a Face is known for their brilliant colors, and contrasting temples and fronts. They push the edge of the envelope, with beautiful results. The frames are made to be worn, and when you do, you’ll get compliment after compliment.

Take a look; you’ll love what you find.

Face a Face eyeglassesJust as I was blogging on and on about cat eye shaped glasses and sunglasses the most wonderful thing happened. Dickson from Face a Face came in and showed me the most amazing pair of guess what, cat eye glasses. The Ivory is a new frame and it is beautiful. Available in classic finishes as well as burgundy and a bright aqua this cat eye gets mod by increasing the size and incorporating a rolled metal hinge. The rolled metal gives a nice contrasting pop to the various colors as well as an edgy twist to the frame.

With each new frame I think to myself I can love no other pair of glasses greater than this, and then I find myself counting the days. This time until my Ivory in color 513, burgundy with almost retro looking white rolled metal hinges, arrives. I guess it’s true what the say, love is infinite………..

axess 4 eyeglass frameToday’s frame pic comes from the ever informative lover of eyewear at Europtics Cherry Creek, Tina. She chose the Axess 4, color 263.

Things she loves about this eyeglass frame: It’s beautiful. It has a subtle feminine arch at the brow. The bold red front with the funky red hatching along the temples presents just a little bit of fun. Like all Face a Face this frame allows you to Read the rest of this entry »

Face a Face EyeglassesToday’s frame feature is the Nueva 1 by Face a Face in color 635. Why? Because it’s purple leopard… isn’t that reason enough.

Ok, tidbits of talk regarding why she loved this frame from the gal wearing these specs included: brilliant shades of purple and leopard sides. The frame brings fun and whimsy to her collection of eyewear which is something she always looks for. Finally, she brought note to the professional shape of the front piece of the eyewear making it perfect for the boardroom, yet the fun leopard temples bringing a little pizzaz making it just as suitable in a recreational setting.

This eyeglass frame can transition easily from one environment to another and let you express a little personality as it does so.
