The Final Day of Vision Expo wound down the festivities in New York. We made a few last minute visits to up and coming lines like Garret Leight, saw the latest La loops (adjustable dog tags and heavy metal chains hand crafted in Mexico), and spent the rest of the day crossing the t’s and dotting the “eyes” on all things eyewear related.

We paid a quick visit to Opticam and then shopped for the elusive “perfect” sunglass case…

It wasn’t the most exciting day at the meeting but did serve as a nice little wind down before the crew returned west. Stay tuned to the stores for the exciting arrival of Opticam and the new La Loops.

Oliver People never disappoints and we saw some classic ophthalmic styles, sassy suns and three new signature styles coming soon…

Matsuda was reintroduced about a year ago and are bringing great old styles back. They’re also working with that same aesthetic and adding some great new twists with a side shield aviator and other side shield sunglasses…

Zero G brought a number of exciting new titanium styles to their collection that will be making their way on to the boards in the near future.

We wrapped the day up with Lindberg and Etnia but were having such a great time seeing the new product once again I forgot to take pictures… Not to worry, I’ll pull together a few photos for the summary posts I’m putting together for each company to give you an idea of what we saw.

There was a great new wrap, the Crocodile, two new aviator styles, the Indo and the Terrapin, a sassy feminine style the Stilletto and more.

The exceptional quality of Reptile was present but taken to a new level. They have mastered a technology that allows them to offer fully polarized gradient lenses in both glass and polycarbonate. Look for these lenses in the Indo, Terrapin and Stilletto styles.
