Tis the season for sunglasses, and today I want to talk about one of Reptile’s newer offerings; the Reptile Plateau. The Plateau is a very retro frame, and works great for people with small or medium size heads. It is what’s called a P-3 shape (mostly round, but just a little flatter on top, which is perfect with most people’s eyebrows), and comes in 2 colors. The 2 colors are a black front with tortoise on the inside, and polarized grey lenses; or a blonde tortoise fade frame, with brown polarized lenses.
As you may know, Reptile only makes polarized lenses for all their sunglasses. So, in addition to being 100% UV protected, they also block glare along the 180 axis (horizontally). This means, if you’re on the beach, and gaze out over the water, you’ll be able to see a little bit beneath it, and won’t have the horrible glare blinding you.
