April showers bring May flowers. We all know that saying. Do you know what else comes in May? Sunshine. Lots of sunshine. Now is the time to talk about sunglasses again. There are so many sunglasses out there; how do you choose which is right for you? Well, I’ve got a few tips for you. First, you need to decide if you’re wearing them mostly for sports, or something sporty, for driving, or just walking around town or the beach, and looking cool.

Sunglasses come in many different materials: acetate, metal, titanium and combinations of all of these. If you want your sunglasses to fit close to your face, then acetate (plastic) is probably the best material for you. Since there are no nosepads, these frames will snug up to your face, and protect from sun coming in from the top. If you are looking for something that will stay put, you may want to think about a metal frame, because the nosepads will help it stay in place if you’re sweating. If sunlight on the side bothers you, a wrap frame will be best, as it will block the sun coming in around the sides of the sun glasses. More suggestions coming soon!
