Dotting the Eyes

I think it’s time I mention the Anne et Valentin Factory One eyeglasses. These frames are round, and have a very studious air to them. At the same time, they’re also a little bit funky, and different. The Factory series of frames by Anne et Valentin was designed as a nod to Andy Warhol. The name even comes from the name of his studio. And, like Andy’s work, there is a great depth to the Factory frames.

The Factory One eyeglass frames have a beautifully finished front, and then a deliberately rough part on the temple, to give them an “industrial” feel. They are extremely comfortable to wear, but also have an edge to them that will garner you dozens of comments and compliments. The Factory One is also available in a range of colors: Black, tortoise, translucent grey, and the brilliant purple-blue pictured here.
