Today I’d like to tell you all about a chic Lafont frame: the Allure. Now, beyond the fact that I love the name, this is a gorgeous frame. The Allure is a retro shaped frame, fit for both men and women. It is medium sized, so it fits many different faces. The shape of the Allure is fairly square, but not sharp. It has soft, smooth edges, and a polished look and feel.
The rivets on the outside of the frame front join the hinge for the temples to the front. It’s an older method of making the frames, but it assures a secure fit, as well as just being a cool touch to these eyeglasses. I love the fact the Allure is available in numerous different colors. The one I have pictured is the horn, which is a little fun, but still works well with suits. Most of the colors in this frame are more retro, as well. There are a few different tortoises, and the ubiquitous black. There is also a nice caramel color, and a beautiful striated purple. If you’re looking for a classic frame with a twist, don’t pass the Lafont Allure up!
