Lafont was founded in 1923 by Louis Lafont, who manufactured eyeglasses. It was not until 1972, however, that Lafont became a “Brand.” In 1979, Lafont began selling their frames worldwide. They have been committed to timeless beauty and classic styles, but they also have a whimsical side. They love brilliant colors, and are often found at the forefront of the trends. Their trademark color is a stunning cheetah print, which is absolutely gorgeous on women of all skin tones, hair colors and ages.
