One of the first companies I was privileged to see at the 2010 Silmo Optical Tradeshow was Etnia Barcelona. They showed me some of their newest frames, and I was blown away. I know it’s been a while since I’ve written, but I’ve been here in Paris for the last few days. I spent the first part of the week sightseeing, but today it was time to get back to business. I’m not in Paris for fun (although I have been enjoying myself), but for work. While I’ve been here, I’ve been checking out the local optical shops, seeing if anyone has anything interesting. While I’ve been acquainted with many of the eyeglass frame manufacturers the Parisian shops carry, there have been some new and interesting ones I’m looking forward to seeing in the next few days.
