I spoke with Connie, who works at our Cherry Creek Europtics location, recently about her favorite frames. She really adores the Judith Leiber JL 1156 eyeglasses. She says her favorite color is the 01, which is a black front, with a aqua blue back. Connie insists the blue on the inside of the frame brings out the blue in a woman’s eyes, and enhances them.
Judith Leiber is a big name in handbags, and other items, and eyeglass frames were a natural progression. The stones in the Judith Leiber glasses are all authentic Swarovski crystals, and you can really tell by the sparkle. The Swarovski crystals in the JL 1156 frame line the top of the frame front and temples. This allows the frame to have a little flash, and some bling, but not be too overpowering. The JL 1156 is a frame you can wear day or night, with any clothes. It dresses down just as well as it dresses up. It fits a small or medium size face, and fits narrower bridges well. The frames are comfortable to wear as well as being the height of fashion. If you’re interested in these, or any other Judith Leiber frame, call us for information.
Not to big right now on Judith Leiber’s! I had a pair of the 1575 or 1565 can’t remember which it is. They were beautiful, my first pair of prescription glasses ever. I had 26 crystals have fall out. I have been around and around with Judith Leiber in NY about the glasses which are little over a year old. After spending roughly $1000.00 for frames and lenses, my opinion is do not get expensive frames. They fought with me tooth and nail about sending replacement frames, because they do not have that style no longer. So I am getting a different style which they said the lenses will fit into it. Soooo after going to the glass shop to get the new frames that they put my old lenses into, I get home to find out my old lense does not fitproperly, horrible gaps in the frame bottom corner. I call glass shop they said they knew they had to change the frame to try to fit the lense. I am like I cannot believe this ??? I am like no no no, you don’t do that, you ask first!!! NY assured me my old lenses would fit. So again I call NY and argue some more. They are sending another pair of frames without replacing the lenses. I will have to go get new ones made to fit this new frame and I have to pay for it. Judith Leiber does not want to be responsible to pay for lenses. My lesson learned is expensive is definetly not better. This will be last pair of Judith Leibers I will have. They say their frames have lifetime warranty for defects, so I would think all these crystals falling out is a defect. They need to keep all frames in stock since there are lifetime warranties, cause then your the one stuck forking out more money for lenses. I wonder if Judith Leiber knows how her glasses are not holding up to her name? I would love to talk to her to let her know what trouble I have been through with these glasses and the NY office. It says made in Italy but…. I have my doubts about that.
Hi Pam,
I’m sorry about the trouble you’ve had with your Judith Leiber frames. I understand your frustration. We have had some issues (but not recently) with the stones falling out, and eventually had them send us extra stones so we, personally, could glue them back in our customer’s frame. I agree your eyeglass shop should have asked before changing the frame to fit your lenses. How old are your glasses? Usually for frame companies, lifetime warranty = 2yr. They consider that to be the lifetime of a pair of glasses. Let me know if you do have any questions, or we can be of any service with your frames.

I purchased a pair from Eyes and Optics Las Vegas NV Dr. Edward Malik from a Trunk show he had recently. Glasses Marked 995.00 got them for 500.00 BUT now the paint or coating on the sides is peeling off took them in they were Amazed. Dr said he would have Alina call their rep and see. Now after 3 more call and no replys I am really upset. Do I have any recourse. If you can give me a recourse Please Let me know….
Hi,
It may depend on how long you’ve had them, and whether they were a discontinued style or not. However, if you can give me some more information, I can see what I can do for you. I will email you at your address.
