I’ve got some really great news for you today: Gunnar has come out with 3D glasses! These glasses are compatible with the 3D movies you see in theaters. They are much more comfortable than the plastic contraptions they pass out in the theaters, and the lenses are full optical quality. This means you don’t get the distortion and fuzziness that you often get in the cheap theater glasses. The lenses are also much more scratch resistant, so you will be able to see clearly through them for a long time. Read the rest of this entry »
Shane is one of the newest people at our Europtics Cherry Creek location in Denver, CO. Don’t take this to mean he’s new to the eyewear industry, though! Shane has a wonderful eye for unique and funky frames, as he shows with his favorite eyeglass frames today, the Burbank, by Entourage of 7. He considers the Burbank to be an “ultra techy, modern frame, with the look of raw steel.” Read the rest of this entry »
Today I want to write about another Rudy Project frame, the Rydon Sunglasses. The Rydon is one of Rudy Project’s most versatile frames. There are a couple different shapes, and it even comes in a smaller size (the Rydon 2) to fit smaller faces. The lenses have a good wrap around your head, and block a lot of wind and sun. The frame comes in a few colors, and you can get many different lenses for it, including polarized lenses. The lenses are also interchangeable, so you can switch them out depending on the light conditions. Read the rest of this entry »
Rudy Project has a lot of really cool, very functional sunglasses. The Ketyum is one of their most unique sunglasses. The frame itself is made of a unique metal they call Kynetium. The Rudy Project Ketyum sunglasses are extremely lightweight and very durable. The lenses are interchangeable, so you can switch them out depending on the light, time of day, or even your mood. They have polarized and non-polarized lenses for them, and even clear lenses, if you just want to protect your eyes. The Ketyum has a floating lens design, which looks very sporty and cool, and allows for a little bit of air movement, to prevent fogging. They do protect your eyes from wind, as well, so they won’t water. Read the rest of this entry »
My favorite eyeglasses today are the Mykita Lisa glasses. I love them because they are unique, and lightweight. They fit petite faces well, and you can do a short corridor progressive in them, as well. The Mykita Lisa has a cut in the metal front, to give it more interest, but it comes in more traditional colors, and really blends in with your features. It has a soft upsweep, which is helpful for any woman. This is definitely one of my most conservative frames, but I still get plenty of compliments on them, simply for the fit, and the uniqueness of the frames. Read the rest of this entry »
