The New Year comes and with it often comes the desire to revamp your body, you habits, your look. With this in mind I will be spending the next few weeks featuring some of my favorite frames for 2010… Today my focus is on Salt.
Salt Martin Eyeglasses, A perfect masculine frame for the man looking for something distinguished and classic. This acetate frame comes in four colors offering black, two options for tortoise fans and a crystal option for those seeking something mod.
Salt Jaden Eyeglasses, a perfect female option. This subtle cat eye shaped frame is also crafted of top quality acetates. Available in 4 colors as well there is an option for every complexion.
If you’re looking for sunglasses Salt also delivers. They have two Aviator styles everyone is sure to love. Both the Salt Warner Sunglasses and the Salt Nicholas Sunglasses offer classic styling with a modern twist. Their quality and craftsmanship are something hard to find in sunglasses today. Both styles have numerous lens options, some of which are glass offering superior optics and others CR-39 offering lighter weight and more comfort. All of the lens optionsare polarized. Alloy frames and screw on nose pads round out the packages offering the ultimate aviator look and feel for anyone seeking a high end frame.
We’re located in Colorado, the Mile High City. The mountains surrounding us are beautiful and even the city of Denver itself is at fairly high altitude. It has been cold and crisp even at this early stage of winter in Colorado. I can’t remember the last time Denver had snow stay around for as long as it has this year. I am used to the snow falling, melting, a few warm days then snow falling again. What’s my point with all of this? With snow falling and sticking around given our cold temps there is a greater need than ever for good quality sunglasses.
UV rays from the sun are more intense at high altitude, these means Denver and the surrounding mountains. Good sunglasses are necessary year round to protect against sun damage and exposure to the eyes. Add to that the snow covered surfaces resulting in reflected light everywhere you look. This just intensifies the light exposure so not only are sunglasses a good idea, polarized sunglasses become almost essential. Polarized lenses protect against not only UV rays but also absorb direct, reflected and bounce back glare. This means not only are your eyes protected but you are able to achieve optimal visual clarity to engage in all the high country activities your heart desires.
Maui Jim, RudyProject, and Salt Eyewear are only a fraction of the high quality sunglasses eOptics carries that offer polarized lenses.
